In May 2004, blockmasons and brickmasons earned $20.07 per hour as an average; 50 percent of these masons earned between $15.34 and $25.20 an hour, and those who were the best paid ones earned more than $30.43 per hour. Likewise, the median hourly earnings of stonemasons were of approximately $16.82. Around 50% of them received between around $13 and $21.75 an hour and the highest were paid over $27.23 for each hour.
