Automotive Jobs
The automotive industry is constantly growing. A recent study of the Bureau of Labor Statistics discovered that this industry will need around 31,900 new certified automotive technicians per year; and that is just one of many kinds of automotive jobs.
Completion of an automotive training program in high school or in vocational/technical schools is a plus; it will open many doors. The Automotive Youth Educational Systems (AYES) program is one of the most recognized automotive high school training programs. Having finished a community college automotive training program helps your resume a lot.
Some of the most desirable automotive jobs that are available are: Automotive Inspector, Designer, Engineer-CAD, Engineer-Quality, Mechanic, Metallurgical Engineer and Auto Body Repair.
