Carpenter Jobs

Carpentry offers many kinds of jobs. This profession requires knowledge of construction, change and repair of buildings and structures, furniture, dividing walls, and other wood or wood substitute pieces. A carpenter’s skill is usually learned on the job. However, many carpenters have learned their skills in high school courses of carpentry, shop, drawing and math or through several training programs.

Although many people practice carpentry as a hobby, you can make quite a living doing work professionally. With the right skills you could even be your own boss as a contractor.
