New Heads Up Racing Product in the Pipeline
High-tech innovators team up to create new Heads Up display system for racers.
-- March 5, 2005 -- A pioneer in Heads Up technology is teaming up with a leader in data acquisition products to create a new Heads Up display unit for racing. Heads Up technology previously available only to Top Gun and other military pilots will soon be available to amateur and professional race drivers!
Motion Research’s powerful, patented SportVue display system will soon be integrated with the Co Pilot 2 display system from Competition Data Systems. The result will be a high-tech performance tool that gives racers a constant view of speed, rpm, and other critical information in a personal display inside their helmet, focused at infinity. This breakthrough technology frees the rider from glances down at dash-mounted displays.
The new product is now in development. Competition Data Systems is a market leader in racing data acquisition, and the maker of the Commander and Co Pilot systems, used by winning teams in many forms of racing.
Motion Research Corporation is the innovator of the world’s first consumer Heads Up display units. Their product for street motorcycles, the SportVue MC1. The Co Pilot 2 system with SportVue Heads Up Display product is due out this spring.
